With remarkable over-the-side lifting performance, the conventional tail swing Hyundai R55W-9A can take on many difficult jobs. Excellent slew performance makes it an ideal machine for working on slopes. At the core of the machine is a smooth, refined hydraulic system that gives you ultimate control.
Selectable auxiliary flow rates and the detent (continuous flow) mode allow for more precise attachment performance. The comfortable joystick controls reduce hand fatigue and include two way auxiliary hydraulic control. Offset boom swing improves machine versatility allowing you dig in line with the tracks. Inside the cab, a multi-language deluxe color panel displays fuel level, coolant temperature, day/time, throttle position and engine rpm. Operators can select auxiliary hydraulic flow modes and rates from the panel. For increased security, an integrated password protection system may be used to help prevent theft. Other cabin features include multiple storage locations and a 12-volt power supply to keep your cell phone charged throughout the workday.

ECO Gauge
The ECO Gauge gives you instant fuel efficiency feedback as you work. You can also monitor detailed information on average, hourly and daily fuel consumption to help you work more economically.
Advanced Around View Monitoring
The optional Advanced Around View Monitoring (AAVM) system gives you a 360° overview of your immediate working environment to prevent accidents. It also includes Intelligent Moving Object Detection (IMOD) technology that senses and warns you when people or objects come within five metres of the machine.
Intelligent Power Control
Tailor your machine performance. Intelligent Power Control (IPC) regulates the hydraulic pumps depending on the job you want to do. Simply select speed mode, balance mode or efficiency more to tailor your machine’s performance.
Centralised Instrument Cluster
The centralised instrument cluster gives you a constant overview of machine status and operating parameters, including overload warnings, a travel alarm, an inclination sensor, information on heater interoperation, wipers and lamps, and indicators for the audio AUX and air conditioning systems. The urea level and external temperature can be checked quickly using the monitor. The large touchscreen display is easy to read while you work, further improving safety and convenience.
Hi-Mate
For maximum convenience and security, all Hyundai Crawler Excavators feature Hyundai’s exclusive Hi-MATE remote fleet management system, which uses mobile data technology to provide the highest level of service and support. The system makes it easy to evaluate machine productivity and plan servicing and maintenance tasks, as well as any required cost saving measures. It also offers geofencing to protect your machines against theft and unauthorized usage.
