Our HW155H hydrogen-powered wheeled excavator will be a key highlight at Bauma 2025, showcasing its innovative fuel cell technology for carbon-free operation.
Developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, the HW155H demonstrates all-day usability, safety, and sustainability while maintaining the power and performance of a diesel-powered machine. With advanced low-pressure hydrogen storage and mobile refuelling solutions, Hyundai aims to make hydrogen a viable energy source for construction projects worldwide.
Hydrogen fuel cells provide 70-100kW of power for zero-emission operation.
Eight-hour runtime with quick refuelling times of 10-20 minutes.
Advanced low-pressure, high-density hydrogen storage system doubles capacity while improving safety.
Combines on- and off-road capabilities with operating speed and power comparable to diesel excavators.
Shortlisted for Bauma 2025’s Innovation Awards in the Climate Protection category.
Demonstrating Hyundai’s commitment to enhancing job site safety, operational efficiency, and user experience, we invite you to visit our Bauma Innovation Park. We're excited to demonstrate innovations such as remote operation of the HL955A wheel loader from over 700 km away, advanced safety features like the Radar Object Detection Warning System, and the AI-powered Clearview X bucket for enhanced visibility. Visitors can also try 2D and 3D excavator guidance simulators, explore a futuristic Head-Up Display (HUD) that projects critical data directly onto the windshield, and see the Smart Around View Monitoring (SAVM) system offering a 360° view with AI-based object detection.
Key Features:
Control the HL955A remotely from Tessenderlo HQ.
Experience advanced 2D and 3D machine guidance simulators.
Explore safety systems like Radar, E-Stop, and SAVM with AI object detection.
Discover the Clearview X bucket for better visibility during operations.
Witness Hyundai’s next-gen Head-Up Display (HUD) for real-time data access.
Hyundai Construction Equipment has developed two new wheel loader safety advances - AAVM+ and Clearview X – as part of its Edition 25 update. These innovative visibility advances improve safety on site, making it easier for operators to work efficiently and productively in all weather conditions.
Initially available on HL940A, HL955A, HL970A and HL975 Edition 25 loaders, AAVM+ takes Hyundai’s Advanced Around View Monitoring system to a new level, by combining a rear-mounted radar sensor and a steering angle sensor, with the multiple-camera AAVM set-up.
Clearview X is an innovative twin camera system, that in effect helps the operator to ‘see through’ the bucket on a wheel loader. Using cameras mounted on the top and bottom of the machine, Clearview X displays the combined image in real time on the monitor in the cab.
